Learn the basics of costuming and explore how costume designers begin a design concept. Create your own unique sketch and build a version of your Halloween costume idea.
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of costuming, through an understanding of theatre and performance, and how costuming is a part of our society - specifically regarding Halloween. Students will have the opportunity to explore how designers begin a costume design concept and create their own unique sketch; students will then build a basic version of their sketch concept/chosen Halloween costume idea.
